Agenda Alliance responds to appointment of the interim Victims Commissioner

Agenda Alliance are pleased to see the appointment of an interim Victims Commissioner, especially after the position being left vacant for 12 months.

We welcome Baroness Newlove to the role, at a crucial time: the Victims and Prisoners Bill has a long way to go to meet the needs of many women and girls who experience multiple unmet need, a complex area which is often overlooked in victim policy. We look forward to working with her to foreground lived experience voices in how the Bill is designed and implemented, to ensure it improves provision for all victims.
